Review:
This nicely done map will be a valuable asset for your next visit to Gettysburg. The map not only gets you around the battlefield but also includes an Order of Battle that contains units and commanders, as well as a comprehensive list of monuments.

The topographic map itself shows the placement of the park’s monuments, tree lines (both modern and period), as well as period farm sites.

The main map shows the well-known sites of the town; however, Trailhead has added more detailed maps of Hancock’s July 3 position which includes East Cemetery Hill and the National Cemetery, the area around the Wheatfield, Devil’s Den, Valley of Death and Little Round Top, as well as a map of the East Cavalry Field.

Three smaller maps show the general battle movements of the two armies.

The Gettysburg National Military Park Map will take heavy use being waterproof and resistant to tearing.

This reviewer recommends the map as something to toss in your glove compartment for easy reference while touring the battlefield.
