DESCRIPTION: "For the People," an oratorio composed and conducted by Gettysburg College music professor Dr. John William Jones premiered the night before Dedication Day. The musical tribute to Abraham Lincoln featured guest narrator actor Stephen Lang. The Victorian Dance Ensemble of the Civil War Dance Foundation, performed the Lincoln Quadrille for the PresidentÕs Ball movement of the piece.
