Army Recommends Medal Of Honor For Lt. Alonzo Cushing
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Alonzo Cushing, first lieutenant of Battery A, 4th U.S. Artillery, has been recommended to receive the Medal of Honor. He died at his guns on July 3, 1863, at Gettysburg.
